Base amount

A value called the "Base Amount" (BA) is shown in the game statistics on the "Other Players" page. This number is equal to 10% of the average assets of all players. This BA is used to calculate wages, e.g. for Jottonian Times articles, as well as prizes in Las Jegas. Rather than expressing wages in $penn, they are expressed in BAs.

Example: One Jottonian Times article gives the author 1 BA. Early in the round, this is 100,000 $penn. Later, when most players are rich, the author will get 10,000,000 $penn. You can also be paid for being a Lawyer, GSP Officer, a Judge, a member of a Task Force, etc.
